Before analyzing and fully revealing this thesis, it is necessary to know what is it about.

New Media – it’s something that surrounds you everywhere. Online newspapers, blogs, YouTube, internet, social page and etc. They are all create new media. The role of the new media in our life is one of the most beneficial,  because:

  1. collection of information
  2. communication

So, without new media nowadays you can’t get information about everything that happens, happened or will happen in our world. You can’t even be able to support the dialog about news. Actually, the most information that we get it’s from new media, like online newspapers, in social pages, in the web.

By the help of  the new media we can communicate with each other, in spite of the distance. Just by the messaging in social pages. It doesn’t matter where you are, all you need to talk with someone is internet.

But, there is more role of the New Media in our life, however by my opinion that two are the main.

Part two.

Usage of New Media it’s like routine.

New Media is the most demand type of media. Real talk, think about it. What do you do when you wake up? What do you do when you have breakfast? What do you do when you have free time? Of course, you use your phones. Which is connected to internet. You are having breakfast, while you are typing to friend. You wake up and the first action is to look up what is new in the internet. When you have free time you watch films on the phone using internet. Today, 8- to 18-year-old devote an average of 7 hours and 38 minutes (7:38) to using entertainment media in a typical day (more than 53 hours a week) – about the same amount most adults spend at work per day. Since much of that time is spent ‘media multitasking’ (using more than one medium at a time), they actually manage to spend a total of 10 hours and 45 minutes worth of media content in those 7½ hours per day. According to the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 96% of 18- to 29-year-old and three-quarters (75%) of teens now own a cell phone, 88% of whom text, with 73% of wired American teens using social networking websites, a significant increase from previous years.

Easy and cheep.

To use the New Media, it is necessary to have internet. Internet nowadays it’s cheep service which is serviced everywhere. Among the 40 different countries surveyed in 2015, on average 67% of the population stated that they either use the Internet from time to time or use a smartphone (these respondents are automatically ranked as Internet users). The highest access rates are in South Korea (94%), Australia (93%) and Canada (90%), but there are also levels above 80% in countries: USA, UK, Spain, Israel and Germany.  What means internet in our world has more than half of population.

Conclusion.

Some media experts argue new media will demand in the future media landscape.

Yes, new media will demand and increase its popularity from each day. Because, new media it’s comfortable and easy in usage. It’s fast and cheap. Huge impact on society, routine thing. It become as a culture of life. It become something that you can’t live without.

New media is what is called revolutionary phenomenon.
